Parramatta Women’s  2nd Grade cricket teams  opening season match was against Bankstown Sports , who after winning the toss sent the PWGCC in to have a bat, after a solid start, Parramatta lost their first wicket at 25, however that was the last wicket that Parramatta lost for the days play, with Kelsey Miller re-writing another double century being 235 NO after facing 174 balls which included 33 fours and 3 sixes , Kelsey was joined at the wicket by Haley Silver – Holmes , whom on debuted displayed a maturity of a seasoned 2nd grade player, with a high quality 106 NO  off 106 balls , that saw 14 fours.


The partnership of 350 contributed to Parramatta Setting a somewhat Everest target of 1/375 off 50 overs which was never challenged by the opposition.


Other results saw the Parramatta Margaret Peden Side open its representative account with a convincing display over Hornsby Kuring-Gai & Hills , setting a target of 3/213 ( I Hurst 71 , K Myers 71) whilst restricting the opposition to 9/70 .


Parramatta women’s PDCA sides both secured their second win from the same amount of games with the 15-1’s defeating the current raining Premiers with a nail biting last ball win , whilst the 13-2’s also defeated Baulkham Hills last season’s grand finalist, with one over to spare in the limited over round, these results see the PWGSS leading their respective competitions as to date.
